Dalmarri have a range of Pre-School learning programs suited to any early learning centre. We have worked in Early Children centres for a few years and accustomed to the mayhem and skilled in delivering strategic sessions to achieve outcomes.

Our sessions range from an 8-week program to a 90 min session or half-day sessions.

We also have small excursions to an Aboriginal Art Gallery if those centres are in Western Sydney. Dalmarri also has games and Dreamtime stories to keep children entertained.

We offer many different programs including:

Dalmarri have strategic programs in primary schools to help educate and teach not only Indigenous students but also all students. Our programs can include the whole school, a year or just a class. We also have programs for Indigenous students.

NAIDOC week is a great way to celebrate our culture but we have programs to run all year round.

Dalmarri have a range of activities to suit your high school. We have specific programs for inclusion, for indigenous students and for disability. We offer art therapy, term programs, half and full day school murals and artefact displays.

We understand and meet school curriculums and understand set outcomes. Dalmarri is very passionate at delivering programs to engage, learn and teach students our culture and to connect. For indigenous school-based projects, we utilise Indigenous students to contribute to creating an environment for those to connect and feel a sense of belonging. For other projects, it is important to be inclusive, teach our culture, and nurture the knowledge for all to understand.

Art therapy is also important to teach in schools, whilst being grounded and connected to country help students relax and get in touch with the environment. It is very important to our culture and we do these by removing distractions for best outcomes.

We have specific programs for indigenous students. Groups range from primary to secondary.

Naidoc week is a very special week for all indigenous people and for the communities. We are heavily booked in the lead up to Niadoc so please book early to use our services. For most schools, it is usually a full day of activities. We work with school times and normally we have an artwork co-created aby students, staff and completed by Dalmarri artists.

Artwork can be either on stretched canvas or on marine ply for outdoor use. Dalmarri will take the artwork away, complete it professionally, and return it looking stunning. It will be the pride of the school and hung proudly for all students to see.

We have a range of activities to keep students learning and having fun. These include:

  • School artwork
  • Journey stones painted by students to keep
  • Art classes teaching how to do dot work and symbols
  • Indigenous games and activities
  • Local school walk teaching students the advantages of different plants and remedies for medicine
  • Building a gunya of humpy( house using natural bark and weeds)
  • Artefacts display
  • Dreamtime stories and participation
  • Animal tracks, hunting and displays
  • Indigenous Olympics

Dalmarri owners Trevor and Jason are experienced aboriginal artists. We paint school murals, canvas artworks and can paint over just about anything.

If your school needs some artwork painted, or would like a new project painted call the Dalmarri team to set up a meeting and let them create some spectacular.

Dalmarri have term programs for you students. We cater to all students or only Indigenous students. We can come to your school for a period once a week or a morning, half-day or full-day. We can cover a range of outcome topics so get in touch with the Dalmarri team for further information.

  • 1 day per week single or double period sessions
  • Half-day weekly sessions concentrating on different topics each week
  • Cater for each year per week
  • Disadvantaged students in cultural awareness

Dalmarri have a collection of fantastic games for your students and teachers. We come, supply props, equipment, items, and create a fun environment for students to have some fun, learn and teach and have some group activities.
